School Rules
1. Rules and regulations-
- Fee Structure is subject to upward revision every year.
- Payment of the school fees to be paid on the Schoolpad and cash shall not be accepted.
- School fee is to be paid by the due dates or a fine/penalty as per school rules shall be charged. If the arrears are not cleared within two months of the due date of payment the parent may be asked to withdraw the child.
- No mid-session withdrawals from the hostel, mess, or school are allowed. All admissions and associated services are valid for the entire academic session.”
- Children are not permitted to possess any of the following:, cash, mobiles, sim-cards, electronic equipment, intoxicating substances, or any other such banned items.
- Parents are strictly prohibited from giving any kind of tips, money or gifts to any servant or
member of the staff. Breach of this will be viewed very seriously. - Parents/Visitors are not allowed to enter the dormitories without permission of the School Office. Male visitors/parents are not permitted to enter the Girls’ Dormitory under any circumstances
whatsoever.
2. General withdrawal and fees rules-
- Fee must be paid by the 12th of every month.
- Fee for the months of July and March shall be collected with the fee of June and February respectively.
- Tuition fee, Annual and Transport fee shall be charged for all 12 months.
- There shall be no refund of fees in the cases where the child has been expelled or his withdrawal has been requested for, on disciplinary grounds.
- Transfer certificates shall only be issued after all school dues have been cleared and an NOC from all relevant departments has been obtained. A minimum of ten working days is required for the issue of a TC.
- Parents wishing to withdraw their child from the school will be required to give a notice of withdrawal latest by 31st January, intimating that the child will not be returning to the school in the next academic year. If such a notice is not received, on tlme, then the security deposit of the child will stand forfeited.
3 LEAVE –
- Any child absent from school for more than 7 days without intimation shall be considered withdrawn.
– A leave up to three days per month shall be sanctioned by the but a leave for more than three days can only be granted by the Director-Principal in advance.
– Special leave of absence of two days plus journey time may be granted in the case of marriage of the childs or the parents real brother/sister.
– One day plus journey time for visiting home in case of the death of any immediate relation may also be granted. - Leave is not a matter of right and shall be authorized/declined by the school office keeping in view the specific requirement.
- Parents/Guardians are requested not to disrupt the school routine by coming early to pick up their children. They must ensure that children return to school on the specified date and time after vacations. Reservation of tickets/other arrangements must be made well in time, keeping in view the school calendar.
- No child is allowed to go on leave alone or with friends. If the parents so desire then an authority letter should be sent, by the parent to the school, well in advance. Telephonic messages will not be accepted.
- To maintain discipline and to inculcate the habit of punctuality, overstay of leave shall be liable to a fine. The amount of fine to be levied will be determined by the school authorities.
4 Discipline-
- Intoxication of any kind is not permitted. Any child indulging in drinking/smoking/substance abuse shall be immediately expelled without any notice/warning.
- Destruction of school property of any kind or misuse of resources provided including bus accessories/books/computers/internet services/smart boards/musical instruments or any such items will be liable for strict disciplinary action.
5 Additional Rules-
- School Discipline Rule
All students must remember that wearing the school uniform represents the identity and name of the school. Therefore, proper school uniform, neatly tied hair, and overall disciplined appearance are mandatory at all times while in uniform-not only inside the school premises but also while waiting for the school bus or commuting to and from school. Any lapse in dress code or grooming while in uniform will be considered a breach of school discipline.
- Leave Policy Rule
All leave applications must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance. However, in case of medical conditions or emergencies, a maximum of two medical leaves may be taken without documentation. If more medical leave is required, a doctors prescription must be submitted. Leave will be considered valid only after approval otherwise, the day will be marked as absent.
